The Hard Work

Someone told me not long ago that they thought that I always look for the good in people and situations. My reply was that they only thought that because I did not say what comes to my mind. I try to take the time, in most instances, to look at people and situations through the lens of Jesus. That is not an easy thing to do. And that is the reason I say in most instances, because I do not always do that. Last week I said praise God that I am not who I was and praise God that I am not who I will be. But becoming who I will be requires me to look at people through Jesus’s eyes. It requires me to accept the people that Jesus chooses as his own and treat them accordingly.

What would happen if we began to treat everyone as Jesus did? What changes in our world would occur if we looked at everyone and remembered that Jesus chose them just like he chose us?
